This is just a reminder that during the summer months, I am taking a break from both my blog and my podcast. In their place, I have posted my novel Passiontide as an audio book, accessible right here or wherever you listen to your podcasts. I have recorded it in roughly half-hour segments, making it a good companion for a walk or a drive, or as a reassuring voice to lull you to sleep at night.
Revisiting the novel, which was originally published in 2002, I was surprised how many of the themes continue to play on my mind and in my imagination, touching on the workings of soul, the role of religion on our spiritual journey, and the inner adventurer in each of us who wants to help us find our unique path. It was, in ways both professional and personal, prescient.
